Dalton Elementary School Vision
In alignment with Colorado State Standards, it is the vision of Dalton Elementary staff, parents, students and community to pursue the highest achievement where:
- Students achieving high standards are the shared responsibility of school, home and community.
- Families have frequent opportunities to talk and interact with teachers and learn how to help their child at home and at school.
- The learning environment is safe, positive and respectful.
- The community is encouraged to access school and district resources
- High quality instruction from Kindergarten through 5th grade meets the needs of every child.
- Students are challenged and are responsible to set, pursue, and achieve personal goals.
- Physical Education, Art, Music, Media Center and Technology are valued and integrated with academics to enhance the whole child.
