APS OverDrive eBooks and Audiobooks
Library Services is making ebooks available for checkout district-wide using OverDrive. APS OverDrive offers both ebooks and audiobooks for all student levels, as well as professional development ebooks for staff.

An app is available for every major desktop and mobile platform, including Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android phones and tablets, Kindles and Kindle Fire HD, Barnes & Noble nooks, Windows 8 PCs, tablets and phones, and Blackberry.

Chromebooks can view but not download OverDrive ebooks.

Everyone has an account. Just sign in at: apslibraryservices.lib.overdrive.com

  • Library card number for staff is their full APS Outlook email address.
  • Library card number for students is their district ID number.

No password is needed. After logging in, choose a subject, collection or grade level to explore, or just click in the search field and type in the desired title, author or keyword.

OverDrive was started last year for use by high school students, but thanks to a recent Libraries and Literacy Grant we were able to extend OverDrive to students at all levels. We now have over 500 elementary ebooks available. While ALL students can view ALL ebooks (covers and samples), the elementary students can only check out the elementary ebooks.
